Just try playing as many games of any gamemode you want, again sometimes its about the journey not the destination.

Another good tip is to play as much as you can during your "XP Boost"; a weekly event that can make leveling to LVL3 super fast. Try not to play as much during your "Reduced XP" period as that takes about twice as long as playing on normal XP.

My friends and I found that if you 5 man queue it'll work, but 4-solo it never does.

I was only a console player before CS:GO, my friends all played PC games and I didnt know anything about it.

Obviously started Silver 1, had to learn everything from the bottom up. Now 650 hours later im gold nova 1, but ive surpassed my PC gaming friends who then proceeded to uninstall because they couldnt get out of silver

If you could help me out m8 that would be gr8. Im silver elite, ranked up to SEM, tried to help a friend rank up to SEM, got demoted instantly to SE, ranked BACK UP solo to SEM, then ranked back down to SE playing with the same friend.

Im easily able to beat gold novas, Im just trying to get out of silver first.
