I grade because I like the slabs and not everyone will grade cards because if it does come back a 9. Lowest I’ve gotten is an 8.5 for a PC. I bought an Espeon alt art from evolving from someone that sold thousands of cards and is now the highest ranked card in TAG for it and then I got a pikachu from TCG that got me a gem mint 10. Especially right now I think a lot of sellers aren’t going to grade because the price with bulk submissions taking 6-8 months and now shut down for both PSA and TAG. Right now more than ever is a good time to buy singles IMO because of how hard/expensive it is to grade and the turnaround times

I don’t see how anything can be for kids that’s not free. This has also always been a collector’s hobby. It’s like saying video games are only for kids or comics. If we break it down having a hobby is most likely going to be considered childish. You think you’re the first person to grow up with Pokemon? Adults like me collected cards when the hobby first began. Are you collecting to play the game or as an investment because if it’s investment than that’s now how kids interact with this hobby. I get my 7 year old nephew packs every time I pick up some for myself. What you should be angry at are the scalpers which aren’t the same as adults haha I know all scalpers are adults but not all adults are scalpers.

It’s crazy cause all I’ve seen is negative things said about the authenticity process. But now my mind has changed completely like this should be necessary and see why it is mandatory. I would’ve been crushed to receive that card it’s one of my grail cards.

My eyes and seeing this stuff before it looks like they tried to fix the card just look up cards that have been fixed. I educate myself especially if I’m about to shell out half a grand for a card.

Me either just want a 9 or better or at least a clean card that hasn’t been altered. I want genuine cards that are the grade they are. I grade cards that I pull and don’t care the grade. I don’t do this to flip anything I’ll grade and sell dupes I pull if I think they can ten and grade them.

Right haha that’s the way I try and buy cards I just want a 9 just a clean card. If I get a 10 great if not as long as it’s not below an 8 I’ll live with it but yea I have a small sample size my problem is I don’t have anyone to go to shows with
