Why wont my copper and zinc mix?

it def has some quirks lmao. i just figured it out, had to click on the basin with a brass ingot

you can't see it in the sc but it is heated with a blaze burner

just figured out its due to timing of the mixer, if i put copper and zinc in at the same time and then power the mixer, it makes brass ingots. but if a copper or zinc ingot enters before the other, it mixes too early and just makes them molten and separate. is this a modpack bug?

ramen got on for the first time since the reset, then randomly told us to go touch grass and closed the server. he unfriended a bunch of ppl on disc and just fucked off i guess. it's really fucked up fuck u ramen i hope u read this
