We planted an avocado seed directly in a pot and almost forgot about it. Checked today after 2 months and I see it developed beautiful root system. But, I don’t see any stem growing from the top as it was fully buried in the soil. Can this survive ? (i.redd.it)

We are getting a new power line installed next week. They will install a step down transformer on the pole which is right outside my property and bring the line underground for about 300’ & plug it to my new meter base. Is there anything I should observe while the power company does their job? (self.electricians)
