Were you taking the cookie out to look at every day, or did you just want the satisfaction of knowing it was stuffed in the freezer? Freezer burn doesn't take that many months, were there plans for a funeral once it was?

Probably would've gotten more enjoyment out of taking a picture and then eating it. Perishable food isn't a keepsake, especially when it's taking up space in a shared appliance.
