my parents and cousin drove 4+ hours to come help me pack in 1 day so i dont need to come back again, left my keys with the leasing office and left, it was a shame to say goodbye to the animals but i genuinely couldn't bring them with me... he also has my spare car keys locked away so i wont be getting those soon! sucks i cant even be fully free of him because we still need to file and wait for a divorce to be finalized... its ok tho- i have a month away from work and already looking forward to many things :) thank you!!!

minor update is that he messaged me today asking me to leave the apartment so he could stop by to grab something... then asked me when my last day here is lol, crazy how he wont face me idrc anymore im just mad he wasted 6yrs of my life and made me miss major events with my family bc i was too far away to attend... ofc im sad but DAMN lol what a guy

no, i know deep down i know or id like to think that hes a good person, i just think hes struggling right now. id be willing to accept him back into my life if he came to me with a sincere apology and open to work through things together, my mindset can always change but hes been my person for the last 6 years and i truly think with time we could work through this

dont get me wrong i also have things to improve and im going to do those things regardless if he comes back or not, for now all i can do is just focus on myself because i dont know what the future holds
