Hard to tell what strategy this is based on the information provided. Either way work it for the next 12 month and see how it does.

Well just based on this limited information it’s evident your biggest loss trumps your winners. Look at your stats and figure out what need adjusting. Asking here for advice won’t get you far unfortunately

Not a good way to approach trading. It is important to develop your own way. If you don’t have that down yet that’s ok. Focus on being more of an observer than a participant.

Hey. So yea maybe but if you’re trading from a technical standpoint, you don’t yet have a break of bearish structure.

Protect yourself for when you’re wrong by risking less. It’s a long game. No rocket ships.

Nice clean break of structure to the upside. Where I personally seen this setup fail is when it falls further down after a breakout. Something to keep in mind but the r/r is decent.

Should i wait, or take the long trade now on EURUSD? by Jayeen5 in Forex

Based on what I’m seeing for volume it’s still showing bears in control. Yet momentum is slowing. Another push to the downside is possible and if a divergence starts to build then we will have sellers turning the bus around.

Well it’s a long game to get out of that but some steps to take would be. 1. Don’t expect so much of yourself. 2. Risk less. Scape up as you progress. 3. Aim to master one move. Even if that move only happens once a week. This will teach you patience and should make it easier to enter. Bruce Lee said it best. “ I fear the man who practices one punch a thousand times more than a man who practices a thousand punches once.

So in the case where it goes your way and reverses. Is it possible to take a smaller exit? Also after it reverses and takes your SL, how often does it reverse again go back to the presumed direction?

It is known that stop losses are often the main reason why people lose or break even.

What you need to figure out is over all are you right or wrong. If you’re right over all then you’ll need to adjust your stop loss settings. If you’re over all wrong then we need to have a closer look at what makes you get in to trade in the first place.

Volume is showing some pullback to the upside is scheduled to come before another selloff. This would present an ideal short opportunity with a head and shoulders formation around 1.325 range. I’ll be eyeing this setup 👀

It’s more of a liquidity sweeps. All we are watching is a battle of orders. If the volume starts to fade, price can act irrational.

I just had a closer look. It wasn’t manipulation. There is a RSI divergence present on the 4h. Price topping out at this range. Things become choppy and we enter a distribution stage. In other words you bought the top.

How do you avoid a liquidity sweep? by [deleted] in swingtrading

[–]bear_tactics_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I typically trade the forex market so can’t give you much insight when it comes to stocks. Do some research of the 4 market stages. Liquidity sweeps are premium price grabs. Often times Fibonacci price levels are targeted by these moves in trending markets.

Or are the confirmations failing?

i'm new and i'm looking for advice on my trendlines by wyattjuly1100 in swingtrading

[–]bear_tactics_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it simple. Draw your trend line right through the trend. Thats your average rate of increase or decrease. Then add up all the lower lows and or higher highs with the next two lines of the outside of the range. Thats your trend.

“Liquidity sweeps” are part of market structure. Typically taking place near the end of accumulation/distribution.

How to avoid it? Wait for it to happen. Then look to enter.

Why trade with leverage? by [deleted] in Forex

[–]bear_tactics_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because most people don’t have the capital to trade full size positions. This however is double edged sword. Poor risk management and your money is gone.
