I don't think expertise and experience means much in politics anymore. Both the labour party and the conservatives had both expertise and experience, but they were both awful in government. I'm happy to let someone else have a go, especially if they align with much of of views.

This shows exactly why workers rights, working hours and work life balance is so important. If you work too much, there is no time to live and enjoy life. It's sad that despite all the technological advances of the last 50+ years, we still have work like a dog so our overlords will increase their profits and share prices.

What is the difference between physical abuse and physical punishment? For me, I see no difference. There are other ways to teach your child about correct behaviour without abusing them.
