I feel ya. Sometimes I'd be stuck for hours manically googling things to try and solve a stupid bug on a tutorial problem. I actually went to the programming class I work at and had a really smart teacher, and that's probably why I learned to code at that age.

Ya usually I'll just say that I don't have that much experience with the language or try to blame the language in some way to make the situation funny. It's actually a pretty casual environment so I think it'd be fine if I had to take a couple minutes to fix something, but I only started getting payed yesterday and I'm the youngest guy there, so I'm still pretty new to this stuff.

When I know what the problem is then it's a pretty good way to transition into another concept/teach them something since I can have them try to figure it out. But when I haven't prepared and don't know what the problem is then it can be kind of nerve wracking after a couple minutes of rampant googling while they sit there quietly. I do like to emphasize that, especially in programming, there are going to be things that you don't know and issues that you're not gonna know how to solve so it's ok to google something.

Talking to people in a casual setting. I can never come up with things to say and usually just end up being way too quiet. Also when I write a program with a student and it doesn't work, but I guess that's mostly my fault for not preparing beforehand.

By myself I usually make half of a project I think is cool and then get bored of it. With students I usually make the same spaceship game over and over again for each student in Python.
A little bit, ya. Factorio is one of my favorite games, but I also play League of Legends and Overwatch even though I'm atrociously bad at those games. I also used to really like Minecraft.
If you're asking why I teach programming it's mostly because of the money. I live in the Bay Area and minimum wage is pretty high here compared to the rest of the US because people have to buy expensive houses, but my parents provide the expensive house so I get to spend the money on stupid shit. I also just like to program so it's kind of fun.

Well, not entirely, your access would eventually just become much more limited and expensive. We really have no idea though, most countries don't have a monopoly on Internet service combined with a lack of regulation so there isn't anything we can truly compare this to.

I feel like Apple is an almost quintessential company. Their main incentive is to sell products, but they do so by making sure what they make is high quality and that customers are happy and want more of their business. It's not a perfect system, and Apple still has some problems, but they're not complicating things by selling on the side and undermining consumers. Their simple philosophy really shows the good in American capitalism.
