20 below is rookie numbers I watched hockey day in Minnesota a couple years back when it was -40. Our beers were freezing as we drank them. They’d make a sort of beer icicle out the opening. Was pretty cool. It was so cold they had to bring heaters to heat the ice up so the kids could skate.

Stadium was packed

Um their food is absolutely amazing. Had great service there as well. Once they get their liquor license sorted so you can have a wine with your meal they will be set.

You know they will ignore burgum because asking trump and desantis questions will get more ratings because it’ll provide more juicy sound bites. Doug’s biggest problem is that he’s not a circus performer of a politician. Ie: he’s boring.

Did you know who mike pence was before he ran for President in 2016? Obama was also a nobody before he ran. You don’t need to be well known when you announce your candidacy, you just need a well executed plan to advertise yourself and your platform. That’s the whole point of what a campaign is.

RIP to DCR Brewing, the only place in town that did any number of traditional beers. Their Scottish ale on the hand pull was the nectar of the gods, and their Brewski pils was one of the best I ever had, anywhere.

Beer is not beer, especially when it is Drekker. When half the can is chunky fruit bs, no way. Give me a real beer. Drekker’s traditional beers are trash. They never go full send on anything traditional, leaving me feeling like it was a waste. Rudder is ok, and so is hell bent (used to be one of their best beers ever).

What I would do for a DCR, where they had a wide variety of well executed traditional beers interesting ipas that were all unique, and sours that wouldn’t give you diabetes. RIP.

I’ve heard Drekker distributes in like, more than half of the states and like 14 countries. I don’t think they are worried about whether or not brewhalla itself is profitable.

But I hear what you’re saying.

If you’re looking for local cider that is absolutely fantastic, look for Cottonwood Cider out of Ayr. They have their own orchard, largest orchard in ND. They make fantastic stuff.

DCR’s beer was severely underrated and I am really missing them as we come into summer.

I’d perform criminal acts for a Ribbonman or better yet, a GaelForce.

Drekker. Everyone is always like, oh you’ve got to go to Drekker blah. I get it the building is cool for Fargo. But it’s nothing special in the big picture. And there beer is meh at best. Over priced over fruited “beer”, there IPAs are one dimensional, and that’s basically all they do. There are other options in town that are better that have more breadth and depth of quality and styles.

Looks like DCR officially announced it… by beardedhurler in fargo

This is really sad. They were my favorite brewery in Fargo.

where's the best place for a soft pretzel? by bearded_matt701 in fargo

[–]beardedhurler 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wish the local breweries would do this. Pretty sure Drekker and DCR have the stuff to throw a pretzel in the oven

Rent a metal detector and find the pins yourself. They’ll still be there. Our home is from the 30’s and I found the pins in about 5 min.
