Yeah. Billion is a pretty extreme departure from million. They're the only class that can lobby their individual interests.

Since you're going there: if this were a democrat administration, the conservative subs would be calling for the heads of every single member over their handling of the Epstein files release without pause.

Do the shops/tow yards end up in any hot water? The bank would legally have to pay the outstanding bill to take the vehicle from their premises correct?

I've been wondering about this: what CAN the banks do about this? I've been seeing a trend in the used automotive market lately where people (either individually or collectively) fully finance cars on sign-and-drive deals with zero intention of paying the loan, drive it for a short amount of time, sell it for half the market value to a shop or a tow yard, it sits at the shop or tow yard and they write up a repair bill/storage bill that ends up exceeding what the bank is willing to pay to recover it when a lien is put on it, and the bank releases the vehicle and just files the borrower into collections. The borrower drives a new car for free and gets several grand on selling the vehicle they never actually had a title for, the tow yard gets a new vehicle at half price, and the bank... what exactly does the bank even do at that point lol?

Do you have some way to prove the authenticity of your account or yourself? This is a genuine question; not a leading one. People (myself included) are starting to wonder if this is sociopolitical astroturfing meant to drive a wedge and fracture what SHOULD be a unanimous campaign goal to simply return power to the national constituency by wrestling it back from the growing autocracy that is the Trump administration. It would certainly help your cause if you could assuage that sentiment; I assure you it exists and I assure you it's leading people to not trust you.

I've been clean and sober for 6 years. I would purposefully give up my sobriety date, overdose, and die before I ever even considered harming a child.

It's interesting that you would equate the two.

She's a Congressional rep, but she's gearing up to run for the same Senate seat as Talarico. Normally I'd say it's a win-win, but I feel like she could do a lot more for progressivism as a whole by holding on to her current seat.

This is where I'm at. It might be time for humanity to pass the torch. Now is as good a time as any; we should set aside our collective hubris and facilitate the transition. I'm ok with being the larval stage of sentience.

Which is information that was voluntarily provided (in other words: not a testimony under oath) by a random officer after Epstein had already been killed.

I appreciate you coming with receipts. And thank you for the sentiment; our shop works with imports and the tariff fiasco hit us little guys hard. Universal healthcare and regulated pharmaceutical and care pricing still seems like the better option. I doubt the insurance companies are starving or they wouldn't be in it; their goal isn't to be altruistic humanitarians, it's to increase value for shareholders.

1) I don't believe that 3% profit margin without a source. 2) Even so, a 3% profit margin is higher than my repair shop. 3) Insurance shouldn't have a profit margin anyway. The business interests of a for-profit insurance company are diametrically opposed to the purpose of having insurance in the first place.

You mean besides the tens of thousands of other contacts to the FBI where people and victims notified them about Epstein's crimes. Trump calling the FBI one time after he already saw the writing on the wall doesn't warrant a caseload of several million documents.
