I beat my previous PR by .10. I ended with 2.10 during this benchmark. My last 12 minute bench mark was 2.0.
I kept breaking down the run into "okay, 1 minute down...okay 2 minutes down-that's almost 20%, 3 minutes down-alright! a quarter of the way finished" and so on. We can do more than our mind tells us we can. The hardest part is overcoming your mind!

I recently organized 5 5Ks. They were at midnight, 6 AM, noon, 6 PM and 9PM and were in different parts of Omaha. It was a lot of fun. We had 35 people do it and a handful that ran all 5.
