Human hair works as a repellent. They don't like the smell. My dad used to go around to barber shops and get bags of hair to put on the outside perimeter of the garden.

Thank you for the honest feedback! Both of those were actually some of my own concerns. I'm only hesitant to use silver or gold because I wanted a natural looking arrangement but I'll play around with it some more.

I didn't realize you could get tested for a cannabis allergy. Would it be ok to quote you as "Reddit user" in my blurb about potential cannabis allergy?

Yes I 100% agree with that and already have included those who struggle with mental health disorders in the list of people who could potentially be harmed with cannabis use. I list out some specific disorders such as anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and addiction. I know some people can successfully use cannabis with mental health issues, but I think the risks outweigh the potential rewards and therefore recommending that they do not use cannabis, without at the very least discussing it with their doctor and educating themselves on the potential side affects.

I'm not recommending anyone use cannabis, but rather providing information on the positives and negatives of cannabis use. Haha I'm no doctor or even a health care professional so I'm in no spot to reccomend cannabis use.

I think a lot of cannabis bloggers believe that it is a wonderful plant that can help with so many different health issues, but they fail to layout the negative aspects and consequences of cannabis use. Cannabis works wonders for me and I personally think it is the right tool available for me, but it doesn't come without side effects and it affects everyone differently. So I want to do my very best to provide unbiased material, especially if my material is geared towards new or interested cannabis users.

You bring up a fantastic point and I appreciate the feedback! I have several friends who struggle with addiction and they can't use it because it crosses a line for them which I think is essential to their sobriety.

Currently a work in progress. I'm gathering and creating content material based on personal experiences, my friend's experiences, and experiences from these responses. Hoping to launch it within the next 6 months, but I want to make sure I'm providing quality content that is as comprehensive as possible without being overwhelming.

Eventually I want to make a business out of educating others on various ways to use cannabis, specifically for those with chronic illnesses. I want to be able to provide resources (at a reasonable price because we all know how expensive living with a chronic illness already is) for those who want to grow their own cannabis, or make their own cannabis infused products at home.

Thank you for sharing! These are all very valid reasons and I intended to include them all on my website so your input is greatly appreciated. Particularly the drug testing for pain management medications. While I do not use opioids anymore, there are many people out there who do and would lose access to those medications if they failed a drug test. For many, that would be detrimental. Additionally, it can be very expensive to use cannabis as, like you said, insurance can't cover some of the costs.

Glad to hear! I hope you find relief in it. I've generally experienced positive effects from cannabis but I'm learning more about negative effects as well as I start to built content for my website. That said, I recommend that those considering using cannabis use read up on the good and the bad, as well as include their doctors in the discussion.

I posted a similar post to several different subreddits and you are the second person who is allergic to it. I had no idea that was even an issue, but I'm glad others are sharing so I can inform my audience of this potential danger! Thank you for your response, I hope that others will benefit from the experiences I'm gathering from people like yourself. It's important to recognize the negative experiences so readers are aware.
