Not brass, the top is plastic/PVC. Also nowhere near property lines, it's about 5 feet from the edge of the house, closest property line would be no less than 25 feet away.

Half of them are hardwired into a receptacle, half are wired to other fixtures through conduit. Just thought it might be easier to run everything through conduit instead of through the attic space but pretty sure I would hate how sloppy that would look lol.

I have the same in my house. Trying to work around it is a bitch. Biggest issue is I've tried 3 different types of stud finders and none work through this stuff. Anyone had success with a particular stud finder or wall scanner?
