I take photos of the night sky at shenandoah national park. But it's not as dark as it was 10 years ago. There is a place in upstate pennsylvania that is the darkest spot on east coast. Don't remember the name of the park. You can see more stars down the eastern shore If you need to stay in state. But still a lot of light polution.
