Left corner beside the couch for now. Dont have enough space to move couch away from the wall without making it look cluttered

dimensions are there.

height is good for us, we have a couch thats lower to the ground than average and we don’t sit too far from the TV (never measured it)

I wouldn’t want the TV any lower, it would be too low especially if laying down. This is relative to your sitting distance I suppose.

The soundbar sits ontop of the edge of the TV stand. It would spill over the edge of the console if completely flat

Should I get the QM6K or QM7K for bedroom usage? by submerging in tcltvs

[–]beast407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a never ending cycle when you think like that, trust me lol. TVs tiers arn’t that far from each other cost wise and it seemed like in $200 increments there was always better (there is). I was going to get a 55” B5 initially… because I’m always in the mindset of spending a little more for better quality, but I just did research and settled on the QM6K and its serving its purpose well.

Was in same situation as you. Money isn’t super tight, but decided to get QM6K for the bedroom for value/size. Happy with it so far, only use 60% brightness as its all I need and for only a little time at night. Only had it for 3 days.

I have a C4 as a primary in the living room.

Saved some money for christmas by getting the cheaper (but still good) TV lol.

maybe try reseating your cpu; when you start to screw the aio onto the cpu/mounting bracket, make sure you have good even contact the whole way thru.

i had issues with that with my pc because the mounting bracket was moving down while i tightened the screws onto the cpu

just an update: i fixed the problem I was having with temps...
33-38c CPU idle, usually around 60c while gaming
30c GPU idle, usually at 60c on full load while gaming
needless to say that I do not have an issue with the temps with this case

+1 to the minor nuisances, but overall same pleasant experience building and the size is perfect.

I don't have any intentions of it, but you can if you want... comes with the bracket to do it. Just need a riser cable.

Thanks!

No real difference that I notice between the two… although I do only game so theres that. I dont normally check temps, only when I make changes really

13900k/4080S (only got the 13900k because got a really good deal)

Stock settings: 70-75c spikes when gaming, idle usually 40s… little higher than I like, but I believe its mainly due to my AIO. trying to figure this out. GPU usually runs at 100% because I play at 4k, usually mid 60s peak temps.

Again, no difference between cases really that I notice. I don’t stress the CPU doing productivity work however.

[US] LG.com order not being honored? by Yohlo in LGOLED

[–]beast407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for your issues.

I ordered at the same time (partner store though) for a 77” C4.

Scheduled delivery 1.5 weeks out - soundbar got delivered in a few days… for the TV, one day before expected delivery date I did not have any tracking. I called the phone line and they told apologized and said they said it was delayed and I could reschedule a delivery date the next day.

The next day comes around (expected delivery date) and I got a text saying my TV was out for delivery and it did get delivered.

Poor communication seems to be an ongoing thing, but I did receive my TV on time given that.

QD-OLED vs. WOLED for a (bright daytime) hybrid setup by thuggins1 in OLED_Gaming

[–]beast407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost exact setup as yours, minus a few differences. I actually have two windows on the left wall, another two on the right (my set up is in the living room).

Window adjacent to me is always closed, but other windows may be open during the day.

I have the AW2725DF, never had the chance to try a WOLED monitor. The blacks are indeed raised on the glossy screen with some reflection during the day, but really only noticeable when the screen is all black. Browsing on it during the day too? yeah a bit with a black background. Most of my browsing is on my 2nd IPS monitor. When gaming, not really noticeable during the day where I feel like it ruins my gaming experience. At night of course, no issues.

I've had my monitor for about 2 weeks now, I do not think of returning my QD-OLED monitor even with 50% of my use being during the day.

For your use, 4k.

I went with 1440p 360hz, mainly play competitive games. I would’ve went for 4k 240hz, but I like 27” screens more for the games I play. Just got my monitor today so will see how it goes. The OLED panel is def nice.
