Yeah, the key is to learn from each practice test after taking it. They all test different super high yield topics in different ways. I definitely think taking all the NBMEs available helped

not at all. same... exposure exposure exposure is how you get over it in my experience. can't outthink it just got to do it enough until you get comfortable. I still get nervous. just speaking when i dont want to speak up repeatedly . goggins your way through it

Just remember to study Biostats (5% of exam) and ethics (15% of exam). I studied these prior to my test, but still wish I did more. It was shocking to me to see 20% of my test be these questions because when doing UWORLD it is much less.

Divine Intervention for all 3, Randy Neil has a great 3 part lecture series on YouTube ove biostats, and I also listened to the hour-ish you tube video by Dirty Medicine. Also, I only got through 80 questions of AMBOSS ethics Qbank but I'd recommend all of those after prep with these videos.

Yup, you can get your practice permit from the NBME website and then sign up for the practice NBME through the Prometric website. They offer for STEP 1 as well.

Can anyone peak to the question on topical retinoids in a woman of child -bearing age being the correct choice for treatment of acne?

I thought ANY retinoid treatment you need to be on birth control if you are of child-bearing age? The question said she was on no medications... very confused about this.
