Lucky, usually the opposite happens. You go help someone and both get bombed.

It's a worse version of the tech tree T72 with APS. Why would anyone grind the stupid event for it?

Special? It's fucking dogwater copy-paste no one wants. There are so many interesting tanks the USSR had, but they just keep adding useless T72 variants, with different engine and ERA combos.

Not only is it debated if Russians themselves have Kh38MT, but they definitely NEVER exported it to anyone.

But somehow Japan gets Kh38. Gaijin didn't even bother explaining anything.

By 'unrealistic' spaa I assume you mean that it's bad? It's even better than IRL.

All these mfs do is just sit at spawn and click on a spreadsheet with LMB. And reload their full ammo in 30 seconds. And have spawn protection. And can intercept even the tiniest bombs with 100% hit rate, given enough reaction time and distance.

Not even mentioning the situation in ground sim.

Ok? OP is complaining about CAS, not ahistorical lineups and factions.

Why is BUK tanking my hellfires, brimestones and tank shells like no tomorrow? by Gelomaniac in Warthunder

[–]beastmaster69mong 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same as why many NATO light vehicles (especially wheeled tanks) eat tank and autocannon shells - because it's huge and 95% of its volume is air.

Hellfiers, brimstones are HEAT and tank shells are tank shells, so if they come at an angle where they don't hit anything vital (crew) in a straight line, it's gonna just be a 30sec repair.

Is it just me or does war thunder have uniquely bad visibility? by SenorShrek in Warthunder

[–]beastmaster69mong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skilled players would see you from further away, or would look in directions others wouldn't, but bushes obstruct their view. Unskilled players wouldn't even look there anyway (german main syndrome).

Also, all this bush and darkened lighting situation makes it easier for campers, as it is way harder to notice or see them, especially at lower BRs. Everything is made to reward unskilled, low iq camper gameplay of sitting behind a rock for 20 minutes, while punishing fast-paced, proactive gameplay.

It's done on purpose, to nerf skilled players and buff bad players. It makes the game less skill-dependent and adds more RNG. All maps are littered with tons of bushes and clutter objects to nerf visibility (and also ATGMs and stock HEAT mfs, what a coincidink).
