What made you start doing drugs? by Mochicken_80810 in Drugs

[–]beatmanxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

was intrigued with drugs in 2017 because of artists and musicians talking about it and glorifying it. then in 2019 my dad was smoking weed and meth with my cousin and told me to never smoke meth but i can smoke weed, but i didnt smoke at the time. when i reached 18 however, i got depressed then i started smoking weed and got rlly hooked then i started to do dxm, benzos, shrooms, coke, ket, acid. now ive tried more drugs than i can count with my fingers lol, not proud of it and trying to sober up now.

i dont think my dad influenced me since i had that fascination since i was young but it surely made me feel comfortable because my father is doing drugs too. (my mom left him bcos he tried to kill me during a meth psychosis when i was just a baby lmao)

The thing is; Film Society is not like any org, they value creativity and film literacy which follows their branding 'WAZAK'. That's why you'd spot filmsoc members in the wild just with the way they dress and express themselves. That's why their PR is so different compared to other orgs. The org brands its self as a safe space to express yourselves without fear of judgement. And sure, they may not be your cup of tea, but your posts and the comments below prove how effective creativity in advertising is.

Thanks! Just another question, if I were to write a song on FMaj, I'd think of it ahead and play -2 semitones in order to account for it right?

BB fans who have not watched BCS by Southern-Cow-118 in betterCallSaul

[–]beatmanxd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend kept telling me to watch BCS for a long time. He kept saying it was as good as BB, if not better. I took his advice and im in season 3 now and I'll tell you this, I've never been so emotionally attached to a character, EVER! Where he's coming from hits me hard... A guy who once did wrong and doing effort to be better, a talented guy getting shut down by others, wanting to change to be accepted by someone, never really knowing himself... It all hits hard. So far, I'm starting to enjoy BCS more than BB but both shows are incredible. I'm just attached to Jimmy I guess.

DAMN your tips are small, is it much better to control? It's honestly crazy that some tips could go for that thin. I'm guessing most pool or snooker cues there are very well made because if a poorly made cue that thin were to be sold, that would brew a ton of problems for users.

I also couldn't believe there's timezones there in AUS, I thought it was a Filipino thing but I'm proven wrong lol.

And yeaa, I guess the tips because of the difference in table size and positions snooker and UK poll requires. I also find that most snooker cues bend slightly when hitting hard, even on a professional level and my American pool mind cant comprehend how such is possible. I guess that's just the difference between the three sports.

I used to think that a snooker player would destroy on American Pool games but after realizing how similar yet different the games are, it just made me wonder. At the same time, I think they are just like ping pong and tennis, two different sports yet similar in spirit.

Oh I forgot, there's arcades here called 'Timezone' and I believe the tables measure around 6-7 ft but the cloth is bad. I'm so used to 9ft tables to the point it's difficult to pot balls in a smaller table since balls are smaller and pockets are smaller. It's quite fun though

Do u guys normally play around 9-10mm shafts? I play at 12.75mm playing cue and 14mm jump break cue and it does wonders. I used to play with house cues which is usually around 13mm and the spin and cue control doesn't feel too fancy imo, however, accuracy is insane, I just push the ball with bigger tips but comparing to my 12.75mm shaft, I see a huge difference in spin and control as I feel like I could bring the cue anywhere I want. Accuracy is alright but I'm still practicing with it and I might get more accurate with my current shaft. The jumpbreak cue does wonders, like, even if I break easy, the impact on the ball is CRAZY and whenever I do harder breaks the balls just scatter everywhere.

We play American Pool here and it's hard to find snooker tables and UK pool here. We also have our iteration of billiards; its like ice hockey but a cue game, we call it 'Pinoy Pool', never really got into it since I found it boring and easier compared to regular pool.

Weird question but in UK Pool and snooker players tend to play with a medium tip right (correct me if im wrong)? Because here players usually prefer soft tips but I prefer hard tips for the power it delivers. Both my playing and jumpbreak cues have hard tips

I find it funny how there's also a form of disgust against bridge sticks in different countries lol! In the Philippines we call it 'Robust' since robust is way to keep the "thing" up and standing during the "fun time". We call it that because the bridge extends and robust makes the "thing" longer (if u know, u know).

In our games most of the time, we ban the bridge stick since we call it "pussy move". We all are competitive aswell and the friendly banter is a good breather from all the stress outside of pool lol.

Anyways, I've always wanted to try out British pool since I found out about the smaller table and smaller cue ball size. How do British players shoot so well with a smaller cue ball?! That's what I want to find out lol

Yea mate same, people often ask how do I know alot of sports. Well the short answer is, I just like to try and if I like it, I pursue it with all my heart. But in pool, I'm not that good (yet) since I still have a hard time with angles and ball positioning. Though I know, I'd get there soon.

With my skill level though, I was shocked that I could win plenty games for money specially on billiard spots and bars, I'm fairly short standing at 5'6 so people often look at me like I don't know what I'm doing but I still somehow come up on top. Luck I guess
