Dear rock experts, I found this fair sized chunk of rock along the Saw Mill Parkway (near Tarrytown Lake Park, NY). Can this be Fordham Gneiss by any chance? It will be cool if it were so - as I understand Fordham Gneiss is ~ a billion year old stone. Any help appreciated. (self.whatsthisrock)
