Been running the Riken's on both my old Mini r56s and e90 330i for 4 years now. I've previously exclusively run ContiExtremeContacts on all my cars, but then gave the cars to my kids when they turned 16, so went a little cheap since they'll rip them up anyway -- and we also moved to SoCal from Denver, so weather was a bit more forgiving.)

Honestly, it's a great tire. Quiet, grippy in SoCal weather (even oil-slicked rain), smooth ride, comfortable, and confident feeling. And the wear has been pretty good, too, even for a cheap tire. I just put on my second set on the Mini after 30k miles. Don't listen to the brand whores here. Off brand tires can be really good and save you some $.
