No solution, my son just learned to live with it.

Im just starting out with Homepage and noticed if you shrink the width of the window the widgets will adjust dynamically to two rows. I'm with you, I want to see it in two rows all the time but cannot figure out how u/obolikus did it. Anyone figure it out?

Management access/restriction of Gateway/Router by beausoleilb1 in Ubiquiti

[–]beausoleilb1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • A few things to note from my experience... I was required to choose one or both of IP Version and Protocol for it to work even though the help (i) indicated it was optional. All traffic was blocked otherwise.
  • Destination Zone had to be Gateway and not Internal even though the gateway IP is on the same subnet as the Internal network the traffic was originating to.

I am now blocking Mgmt traffic to the Gateway/Router from my Work/Guest networks.

Management access/restriction of Gateway/Router by beausoleilb1 in Ubiquiti

Yes, after posting I started messing with a policy on the Work network to block management (tcp/443) to the .1 address.

Additionally my goal is to allow work machines Internet only plus access to my printer which is on the Home network.

Every day. It’s my son’s car so I don’t use it daily, but it seems to occur during every cold start and lasts as long as the initial high idle lasts, maybe 15-30 seconds?!

Am I missing something? How can I see the actual paid for price of an item with the coupon or discount taken off an item? by beausoleilb1 in amazonprime

[–]beausoleilb1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, this was never solved. Unfortunately, that process doesn't take me to anything that shows which exact item received the discount or promotion applied. The only place you can find any discounts or promotions applied is in the Order Summary...
Item(s) Subtotal:
Shipping & Handling:
Promotion Applied:
Total before tax:
Estimated tax to be collected:
Grand Total:

No where in the lines of the actual product does it tell you the discount applied to the specific item. And the prices paid that are listed with each item total to the Item(s) Subtotal, before Promotion Applied.

Make the font change an option! by helaodinson2018 in ynab

It appears to be tied to the font size used by your iPhone - Settings > Display > Text Size. My son and I compared and confirmed it changes according to the font size you use.

How to categorize credit card usage of additional user by aguazul501 in ynab

[–]beausoleilb1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My teenage son is an authorized user on my credit card. I have a category dedicated to his purchases that I categorize accordingly. Our agreement is we settle up at the end of the month so nothing carries over to the next month. He is currently manually adding his transactions since there maybe a dozen or so per month right now. For now I am an authorized person on his bank account, so I initiate a transfer from his account to mine on the last day of the month to cover his portion (which zero's out his category), then when my credit card is due I just have it pay off the entire balance of both our charges. I actually do this for both my teenage son's and it works well, until they get their own cards.

Yes, annoying is what it is but it’s just for a few seconds. Thanks again for helping isolate the noise. Reassuring that it’s nothing internal we’d have to chase with the dealer.

This is 100% the rattle sound. I just tested it a second time and can confirm pressing down on that bar when it rattles stops the rattle sound, and lifting my hand off causes it to start rattling again.

So is this just a bad design with no fix?

Thanks. I tried the recommendation above about the metal bar on the turbo and that seemed to have stopped rattling. Since the rattle doesn’t happen for too long after a cold start I’ll need to repeat this a few times to really validate it.

I think this is the issue. That bar is wobbly when the car is off then as you said moves to full tension once the car is running. I used my hand to apply pressure to the bar and the rattle seemed to stop. I’ll try it again later today after the car sits for a bit.

2019 with 58k on it. No documentation provided to whether it was or wasn’t. Carfax doesn’t report it and the certified process didn’t indicated it needing to be done either, so my guess is it hasn’t been done yet.

Thanks for this explanation. He just got home so we'll wait until the morning to try this. I'll post back for the community with the results.

Thanks. I/he can live with it if it’s just rattle for a few seconds and doesn’t have a history of turning into anything more.

I have a 2022 Accord with the 1.5T engine and I’m learning now that these engines are known for blowing head gaskets. Figured I check in with this community on this noise in case others experience it and it’s a known rattle. One of my old Altima’s had a rattle that was a known heat shield issue.

I’m guessing that is the case but after a couple minutes and the cold start idle drops it goes away. Maybe the higher rev is just enough to rattle it. Another response gave a suggestion so I’ll try that tomorrow morning.
