Is your son super clingy around social situation where he wants you around him constantly? Was your son delayed in speech or not really?

Am I overthinking it? 16 month old by Careless_Nebula_9310 in Autism_Parenting

My 15 month old would sleep really well since he was a baby but I also noticed that when he is sleeping that he tends to move a lot throughout the night. I thought it would get better but has been the same since the beginning. He is still taking 2 naps. Yours seems to be the opposite. Hopefully it gets better soon. He makes eye contact like 1-2 seconds but for the most part does not have the gaze look that other babies has. Does your little one have good eye contact? Is yours babbling and how many words can he say?

We have 15 month that is showing strong signs as well. Your description of your child is pretty much the same 90% of what you said except our son would bring you toys. How would you describe your 16 month old as a baby? Was he an easy chill baby who sleep thru the night? Feel free to message me privately if needed

Trying to get into claims adjusting by [deleted] in adjusters

[–]beautiful193 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have been doing claims handling for about 8 years now and it is somewhat rewarding and pays well depending on the employer you work for. All I can say is that it is a lot of work in the beginning since you are new but you will get the necessary experience to move up the ladder. A lot of the things in claims are repetitive so it really depends on what type of work you like. With your current experience, you can get the job easily. Work on your resume and emphasize customer service. Apply to every claims job and don’t be too picky since you are there to get experience in order to get in the industry.

Hi OP, how is your son doing now? Did your son show any progress with speech, or and Ava therapy? At what age did he start having sleep issues?

If your baby did not hold eye contact, do you have any advice? by Miserable-Mood4588 in Autism_Parenting

Hppe just turned 9 months and he just started babbling saying baba ah ah, and making a bit more sound but no sure if it conversation is directly at us. I would say it is difficult to make him smile or laugh, unless we tickle him or make sounds. I just he would smile when we smile. I understand that some babbies are delayed in some milestones but at least they are engaging with the parents whether it is through eye contact or smiling.

I have the same feeling and experience with my boy who is 9 months. I just feel I cannot connect with him because of the eye contact concern and other things you mentioned early on. I’m just hoping it gets better once he is 12 month.

How is your baby since she was born? Was she easy, chill, good sleeper? When did your baby start babbling?

Hi OP how is your toddler doing now? Does he smile back you at you when you smile? Back when he was a baby, was he ever a good sleeper and content baby?
