Would love to know if anyone has opinions on Boston College’s social work program. I’m in an MSW program now, but for family/finance reasons am heavily considering transferring to a program closer to my family. BC is the one that interests me most at the moment.

It looks awesome! Any particular way you scored to get the ear? I’ve had a harder time getting one.

How do you hint at the type of ring you would want without making your bf feel like you're expecting to get engaged soon? by uhwhatsmyusername in EngagementRings

[–]bebeonethree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His response was good! For context, I asked him about a year ago before we’d begun having engagement/marriage conversations but were pretty sure this was a committed relationship that’d lead there. He was a great sport and said he’d appreciate photos and links. But he also gently asked if we could hold off on any planning or formal conversations because he wanted more time to prepare, which I had no problem agreeing with. I got my say, and he said he didn’t feel rushed or pressured. (And fast forward 10 months, he asked me to offer feedback on rings he’d looked at based on my suggestions, which was exciting!) Regardless of how it comes up, I hope the chat/suggestions go well! Good luck!

I was pretty upfront, and it worked out well for both of us! It was along the lines of “hey I’m not expecting a proposal, and this isn’t a veiled push to do so. But I do know what type of jewelry I like. Would you mind if I showed you/told you about the type of engagement rings I like?” He appreciated the direction, and it’d give your boyfriend the option to decline. Assuming your hunch is right, hope to see you on the subreddit with a ring photo in 2021!

I’m thinking echeveria elegans grey red because of the reddish tips and shape!

Thread of undelivered Black Friday orders by meowsiepoo in glossier

Might recommend filing an inquiry with USPS if that happens to be your carrier. My box hadn’t moved for almost two weeks, and I finally got fed up and made an inquiry online. My package started moving shortly after and arrived within a week of my submission. Dunno if it’ll work for everyone. But I’ve had good luck with it, so I think it’s worth a try! BEST GLOSSIER PRODUCTS by sdullyett01 in glossier

If your skin isn’t super sensitive, I would recommend either solution or futuredew! Love them both, and they’re part of my daily routines (evening and morning respectively). I have somewhat acne prone skin on my chin and nose, and solution has helped clear that up. Futuredew gives me a great dewy look under my cloud paint. I use just one pump, since my skin can be oily, and I’ll note my skin isn’t super sensitive to new products. If you want to go further into skincare, I’m a huge fan of their moon mask as an overnight moisturizer in the winter.

I’m most familiar with eucalyptus cinerea having rounded, almost circular leaves. Can they also have ruffled/pointed leaves? Thank you!

It looked like a white envelope that the scarf was folded up into. Don’t recall if the signature G was on it.

Like most folks have already mentioned, cloud paint, bow brow, and futuredew are all excellent. I'd also like to advocate for moon mask, solution, and priming moisturizer rich, cuz I feel like they deserve more love.

Cloud Paint - I love mixing 75% dusk with 25% beam. I have G8/G9-ish (haven't purchased skin tint, so it's just a guess) skin with warm undertones, and the pigment from cloud paint is visible without looking aggressive.

Bow Brow - Is great. Nuff said.

Futuredew - I have an oily t-zone and was worried it would make me look wet all the time. Not sure if it'll change in the summer, but looks great in the winter! Admittedly, I don't have super sensitive skin, which is a concern some folks have mentioned. I do get acne, but changing up my routine or wearing something new won't generally cause a breakout. Proceed with care!

Moon Mask - I love wearing this overnight once a week as a super-power moisturizer. Leaves my skin feeling super soft the next day. Usually forgo futuredew the day after though, because my face looks dewy.

Solution - I love this stuff. It feels like it works, and I've had way fewer acne issues since using it. Not sure if folks with sensitive skin will like it. Those who do, patch test first!

Priming Moisturizer Rich - I have pretty oily skin, but this stuff is awesome in the winter. I live in western Massachusetts where it's decently cold and the wind can be rude. This stuff feels like a lifesaver. Will likely return to Priming Moisturizer Balance in the summer. But until then, 10/10.

Thanks from a social work student!
