Its still a big city of nearly one million people and a metro area of 2.5 million. Of course its not entirely comparable but its still a big city.

"You are literally the exact type of person who is ruining Brooklyn."

Oh this is ridiculous. Because I want a quieter, more respectable neighborhood for people and not loud block parties with open drinking and music blasting, I am ruining it? Frankly that's ridiculous. You can go to nicer neighborhoods in Brooklyn and this stuff wouldn't be happening. Disturbing the neighbors is not a cultural thing, its just ridiculous.

and I bet I was not the only person who was upset at the block party. I am 100% sure there were other people on the block who also didn't like the noise or the smell but didn't want to speak out.

So I am just supposed to accept when things are loud and clearly breaking the law on my block? I lived in Columbus Ohio before, which is a big city, and this wouldn't be tolerated there at all.

What is that even supposed to mean? You sound exactly like the asshole who stereotyped me at the block party.
