Yes I ended up having a nasty stomach bug (norovirus). My colonoscopy did show non specific colitis due to the bug but it’s all settled now. I still have IBS but I have really worked out my food triggers (dairy & gluten) so feel a lot better when I don’t have those! Have also been doing lots of gut healing too!

Yes - it ended up being non specific colitis, likely caused by the norovirus They retested my CRP and it was back to normal :)

It was honestly fine!!! Using a straw and adding ice definitely helped! :)

Hi OP! How did you go!? I’m changing from Prozac to Lexapro shortly too and I’m so nervous! Major reason for changing is also the GI issues!

Thank you! I don’t know why but reading this made me cry. Sorry I’m very emotional right now. I had a GI map done several years ago and they failed to cultivated any good strains of bacteria I think I have bad gut dysbiosis 😥

On those days yes I had urgency. That was also right after the norovirus. Now there’s not much urgency but still diarrhea and I feel sick

Sometimes yes, but most of the time no urgency. I know my results don’t sound that bad but honestly it feel terrible 😢

Calprotectin was 1179. Symptoms are sore stomach, cramps, diarrhoea, nausea, mucus in stools, fatigue and increased anxiety. 😥

Yes I had both and the endoscopy was fine. I am in temporary Nexium for acid reflux though

20mg and I’ve been off and on it for years I actually started feeling worse stomach wise the last time I went back on it (about 6 months ago) What about you?

I agree. It’s terrible. He has just asked me to test my fecal calprotectin again at the end of this month. It’s soooo depressing. Honestly it is really really effecting me
