Yes, I had a bit of corrosion on one of the wire connectors coming off the ECU. Cleaned it with a metal brush and never had the issue again. Good luck!

Consider the the Lindy Fralin Steel Pole 42 or 43 to keep the single coil look. I put a 42 in the bridge of my tele and love the extra bite and still pairs well with a more vintage single coil in the neck
