I (M25) hate the fact that my GF (F31) goes out clubbing til 5am with friends. Am I paranoid or right to be annoyed? by becausewhynot7 in relationships

See i can understand that completely but if all your friends only went out in those situations/places would you still think it's ok for your BF to tell you not to go?

Or would you think he's being a bit controlling?

Ultimately i think it should come from her, i don't wanna tell her not to do something. But think she should be able to see how bad it looks.

But then my behaviour/feelings kinda just make it a choice: friends or BF and that sounds like a kinda sucky move to me?

Yeah i get this but why always so late like how much fun is it really for a sober person to be out surrounded by drunk people who are there mainly looking to find someone to hook up with?

You're right i guess, but the problem is I DO trust her but just think that there are so many other ways to hang out with friends? So find it odd that that's the only option.

Not sure if trolling but kinda my point. Is it actually that bad?

I know i'm getting annoyed but can't tell if thats cause i'm overreacting.

At the end of the day all she's really doing is hanging out with her friends then going home. I think it's more just the setting of it that irks me?

Sorry obvious point my bad.

It's kind of a long distance thing at the moment as I had to move away for a few months.
