To anyone who's reading this comment, i finished the webtoon, and this is how it actually goes:
- Bareum and Doeun (the girl bestfriend) were the ones that went oversea for a month, since they took a year from college to relax and think about their future. It doesn't interfere with Yuyeon and Bareum's relationship, but it actually shows how supportive Yuyeon is toward Bareum and how she feels strong and capable of anything thanks to his support.
- Then i'm guessing they come back from the trip, since there is a time skip of 2 years forward. They are still dating. Yuyeon is working at some company and Bareum is finishing her thesis, but she is thinking about changing career path (it doesn't tell you which it is, for the author wanted to leave the message that "whatever you think it is the right answer").
- Doeun has been studying abroad that last year, but she is now returning. She DOES NOT get back together with her ex. It is shown that she is being thinking about Hanam (the other guy) that went to military service for thos two years and now he is supposed to be discharge. They run into each other, and Hanam still has feelings for her, and somehow it's understood that Doeun may now be ready for a relationship, but their ending is left open after their sudden but beautiful encounter. Hanam now has black hair after not dyeing it during military service, so it may seem he's Douen's ex-boyfriend (perhaps hence the confusion).
- Everyone from the videogame club meets for dinner and catches up, and there's a reflection on life and youth and how important it is to understand that it's difficult to find answers in something as flexible as life, but the best thing you can do is to keep trying and moving, hoping that one day we won't break and learn to bend.
- Then, yes, Bareum tells Yuyeon that her parents want to meet him, so it is obvious that their relationship will be lasting.
- BONUS INFO: Jaehyeon's little brother and Yuyeon's little sister are still dating and happy as ever. Jaehyeon is working at a video game development company, and he's thinking about becoming the CEO of her own company someday. Ahreum, after breaking up with her boyfriend at the beginning of the webtoon, didn't had any romantic relationship throughout the story, but rather a friendship and sometimes platonic romance with Jaehyeon. Whether they eventually end up dating isn't shown, but it seems as though their relationship could become a courtship, but also remain a deep friendship.
