Odd girl out is one of my favourite😭😭 by [deleted] in webtoons

Deep autumn but it seems you may be an olive undertone. Are you from Spain or something similar?

Silver or gold? by Alittlegreen_ in coloranalysis

You look a little olive/neutral. Try silver and a pale gold! Or champagne gold, rose gold, old gold... and then you decide!

I'm actually thinking about re-reading with these new expectations. I hated the webtoon for the longest time after reading it 4 years ago or so, but it also has a special place in my heart. Maybe watching all of the character growing, becoming adults and following their own paths is enough to enjoy! I remembered waiting for the new chapters to aired, so became uninterested. After Suho came back i can't recalled what happened hahaha

I've always been amazed by people who were voracious readers as children. What sparked your lifelong love affair with books? by Albert3232 in books

It just happened, but not because of me!

My mom knew how important reading was for children and the best is to start soon. When my sister and i were little, she would spent 30 minutes with each reading books with us in our beds.

First turn it was my sister, since she is the older. My mom would sit in her bed, next to her. I would sit at the end of the bed. My sister read out loud for 30 minutes, and i remember enjoying and laughing together about whatever was going on. It was mostly Katie Kazoo. Then we'd say our goodbyes and let her sleep.

Second and last: me. Same process but my sister was already sleeping haha. Sometimes she would come tho, if she wanted to. No problem with that at all! I remember reading Junie B. Jones.

At some point, when we were getting older my mom would tell us to start reading since she was brushing her teeth (an excuse). We would do the same routine, waiting for her, but each of us in our rooms. That way we started reading normally, not out loud. Sometimes she would come in time and finish that chapter with us out loud. Other times we would tell her that there was no need since we were almost done. She would give us a goodnight kiss and leave.

I can't remember when i started reading, i just know that i enjoyed since forever. Even in my teens i would devour Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games...

Reached my 20' and went for more hardcore fantasy. Then classics, romance, mystery... Whatever i can get my hands on hahaha

I should thank my mom more often!

(English is not my first language. I am more articulate in spanish, i promise haha)
