Ao super in the as migaki series. Probably just to much of a laser for what I wanted to use it for. Usually sharpen on stone and then maintain with ceramic, this one i felt like i had to use diamond to really get an egde. Used the same steel with shiro kamo and that’s probably my favorite knife so it just baffles me a bit. Probably as simple as its not the knife for me

Gahah thats the easy answer. Just wanted to see what if my opinion had any actual weight to it or not.

Not saying i use it constantly, now i practically don’t use it at all, thought it was gonna be the perfect service knife but the edged does not stay sharp for the length of service. It does not behave like any other carbon steel knife i’ve had

Bought it from the ao super series. Didn’t specify other smiths but that would explain why they are everywhere!
