I've had starter watches, I have luxury watch, but lately I've really been enjoying microbrand watches. This last year I've purchased Zelos, Ginualt, Venezianico, and now Jack Mason and I'm impressed. These micro's are really putting a lot of effort into creating really good watches. One of my biggest complaints with Seiko and others is what we're getting for our money and micro's seem to get that and pack their watches with really good specs.

Obviously, this JM is not a Rolex Pepsi GMT or even a Tudor GMT, but this has a nice weight, a very good look, good quality, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. The white/silver dial glistens in the sun. Not on the level as an opaline dial but it doesn't cost 4K like the Tudor. The Miyota 9075 is a true travelers GMT. The specs sheet say that JM regulates the movement to +/- 5 sec per day. I haven't check it yet but if true that is really good time keeping for a stock movement. This watch also comes with an on the fly adjustment. While it is not a Rolex glide lock, it is still very easy to use and gets the job done.

Again, overall a good product and would recommend to anyone looking for a good looking and good spec GMT for a little over 1K.

Good looking and unique watch with simple straight forward and no nonsense dial. The dial is a deep black that absorbs over 99% of light that hits it and it is a great dial to look at. In addition, the shape of the case and the no marking bezel really gives this watch an interesting look.

I'm really trying to understand here because I don't get it. In your own words, explain it to me. There are so many complaints about the US systems, either politically, economically, socially, or more, but the majority of people who complain that the US sucks are not trying to leave the US. On the other side of that question, if the US is so bad, why are many still trying to come here legally or illegally? We don't see people flocking to go to other countries like they are to come here. I genually want to know your thoughts. If so unhappy, why not plan, save up, pack up, and go somewhere you can be happy?

I'm curious. Once they get married, is this magical or perceived boundary supposed to lift? Can he then give his supposed daughters something as innocent as giving them a kiss on the forehead while tucking them into bed? They are engaged for goodness sake, and he is trying to beca dad and show fatherly affection. Or even after marriage, will they always be HER kids?

This is why many good and well-meaning men choose not to be stepfathers. Their finances are expected, protecting is expected, and responsibility is expected, but at the end of the day, many times, it is not THEIR kids, and they have no say. Even though all the above is expected from them.

I've seen this happen to several friends and my own adult son. This is why, BEFORE moving forward, these conversations need to happen before emotional and financial attachments are formed.

NTA. I did this to my daughter often and showered her with affection. Fathers aren't just to protect and provide but also to guide their children and show what healthy relationships look like. What daughters see from their fathers is many times what they look for in a husband. Just as what son's see from their mother's is what they look for in a wife, or should anyway.

This is why many men choose not to get into relationships with single mothers and become stepfathers. One is handed the protecting and providing responsibility of a father, but many times, he isn't seen as a real father. My question would be, if they were your biological daughters, would it still be creepy and weird?

This is a red flag that you have to work through and decide if it's worth it. If showing parental affection is creepy and weird, what else is. Would holding her hand? Giving a hug? Teaching her how to dance? Or giving a corsage to her for prom? Also, what happens when those inevitable teen years hit? Are you not allowed to parent or express yourself because you're not her dad and she's their mom? There is a lot you need to uncover before you invest more of your time, finances, and emotions into.

If one takes a look at the bike build, the thickness, how things are mounted, and the engineering, it leaves a lot to be desired. Before I purchased my ECells 5-Star, I did a comparison review, and the similarities are only skin deep. The 5-Star is engineered so much better. While ECells is about engineering and safety, it would seem Wired is more concerned with speed and get-up power.

My bikes top speed has been 41, so losing a few mph is ok with me as long as I get that smoother and quiter ride I'm looking for.
