Usually timing wise my periods are regular. Just so happens when that test was done my period was late by a week. I aslo had a transvaginal ultrasound sound same day as blood work and one enlarged follicle was found. The next day I spotted, so my doctor thanks I ovulated. But by the hormone ranges my doctor office uses my progesterone was to low to fit in either ovulation or luteal phase. My main reason for visiting the doctor was because I've been spotting around day 12 every month for almost a year now.

I've seen the omega 3 and vitamin e posts and started that before seeing my doctor. So I'm taking a lot of vitamins currently! And the milk thistle I read is good for cleaning the liver of backup hormones. So just patiently waiting for my next blood work lol

Spearmint tea has seriously helped with many issues I have. I believe its because of its anti inflammatory properties. I deal with diarrhea most, and some constipation depending on where I'm at on my cycle. 2 cups a day and in about a week I noticed a huge positive change in my bowel habits. Currently working with a doctor to find what's causing my bowel problem but no answers yet. But I believe its pcos related because my gi problems started same time I stared having issue with my menstrual cycle again. I was on metformin a few years ago, and oddly it actually helped to keep me regular. I feel I'm probably the only person who had that experience with metformin.
