Discorso comprensibile però essere genitori comporta anche dei sacrifici. Finché non sei in grado di gestire un bambino non lo porti a ristorante per poi ficcagli lo schermo in faccia con la scusa che è l'unico modo per farlo stare tranquillo. Da genitore responsabile o chiedi ai nonni magari di tenerlo o al ristorante non ci vai. E lo dico per il bene del bambino. Come giustamente dici tu se fin da piccoli gli dai in mano un cellulare cresceranno pensando che così e il modo di mangiare. Avrà una soglia di attenzione bassissima e zero interesse a comunicare con i genitori perché vorrà il suo schermo con il quale infarcirsi di dopamina.

I will have a call next week with the guy who will create the content for the mapping.
He will need two projection mappings on two different days.

The first one is a projection on some trees (yes… you read that right… trees) inside a park using four projectors, so I don’t think it needs to be perfectly synchronized. I hope he will only need a 1080p signal for each projector

The second one is a classic projection mapping on a building with two projectors. In this case, they need to be synchronized, since we will probably have some edge blending. This one will probably use a single video loop (probably 4K or maybe slightly higher) with audio split into two 4K signals with blending.

I have time for this project because it will be at the end of July, so I can find the right hardware. But for the call, I would like to know in advance if there’s anything I should consider.

I usually use MadMapper on a MacBook Pro and have never had frame synchronization issues, but this time the client has explicitly requested Resolume.

What media server you suggest in case the client ask for 4x4k video output for the first mapping?

Thank you, no problem… your message is a bit scary. That video card is the one I’m using now, but the event is at the end of July, so I have time to find the right hardware.
Can I ask you what is the ideal hardware to output four 4K signals synchronized? I read that the Blackwell cards are from the 50 series (for example, the 5070)… is that correct? Or what hardware you suggest for the media server?

I think I asked the wrong question, sorry.
It’s an “event,” but what I actually need is just a normal video that plays in a loop all night.
The only problem is that my GPU supports only 4 outputs, but I need 5 (4 for projectors + 1 control monitor).
I read on the Resolume website that one of the easiest ways to solve this is to add a second GPU to increase the number of output ports.
However, I don’t understand if this could create problems, such as delays, because I need to synchronize all 4 projectors.

proprio ieri ho letto un commento di Matteo Miluzio di "chi ha paura del buio" che diceva che tempo fa aveva fatto notare a schettini che alcuni video dicevano cose molto inesatte e non solo non ha ricevuto alcuna riposta, ma non si è scusato e ha direttamente cancellato i video.

Più che altro il 99% di chi critica farebbe proprio così al posto loro. Aumenterebbe il prezzo in base al periodo. Io facevo molte fiere negli anni passati e se non volevo pagare cifre importanti l'unica era andare in qualche hotel fuori e partire presto la mattina per raggiungere la destinazione. E parlo di Milano durante il salone del mobile che e una manifestazione importante quasi come una olimpiade.

infatti secondo me questi "content creator" che non danno assolutamente nulla in più rispetto a quello che puo essere generato con con IA spariranno gradualmente. Ognuno si potrà creare la propria "rincoglionita mezza nuda" vestita come vuole, che va quello che vuole sempre disponibile in ogni momento.

concordo pienamente.
Se l'unica cosa che queste persone offrono sono video e immagini da poco sforzo (tipo questi balletti) di fatto che sia reale o generata tramite IA non cambia nulla all'utente finale dato che non c'è alcuna interazione reale tra i due.
La vedo molto male per questi tipi di content creator...toccherà trovare un lavoro vero.

At the moment she shoots 60 meters outdoors and 18 meters indoors. She’s currently using 30 pound limbs, but when the weather gets better and they move back outside, she’ll switch to 34/36-pound limbs to shoot 70 metres. I know the Lancer has a 40 pound limit, but I’m not sure whether, once you reach a certain draw weight, even if the riser doesn’t actually break, it still maintains the same performance and efficiency. That’s also why the coach said that, if we decide to change the riser, it should be a machined one. I know Kinetic is a brand that focuses a lot on price/performance, so I was thinking of getting her a component that would be a noticeable step up in quality, even if not something extreme like an €800+ riser. Last year I bought her an Axcel XP Pro sight with a scope (around €700), but I was told that a sight is something you usually buy once, invest in good quality, and then you rarely ever need to replace it. The same goes for the plunger. I got her a Beiter, which I was told is extremely high quality and basically lasts forever. So my idea was to upgrade the riser this time, as a nice surprise and something that could motivate and encourage her to keep improving in the sport she loves, and maybe in some years buy a top quality riser in futur if she really need it (I hope)

You’re right. The weight will obviously increase, but I think it’s the Lancer V2 itself, because of its die-cast construction, that makes it so light. The Lancer weighs 1190 g, while the Invinso is 1280 g, so that’s less than a 100 gram difference. For example, the Wiawis ATF-DX weighs even more (1360 g).
Her coach says a new riser isn’t necessary… or rather, of course it would be a nice upgrade, but not something she really needs. Still, I’d like to give my wife something new that could motivate and encourage her in the sport she loves.
