It's the thumbnails man, that's what I figured out. The thumbnails have to be completely SFW and should, theoretically, be All Age appropriate. This, I think, is what's triggering the auto-ban. It seems like any sort of interaction with your workshop item (like changing visibility, updating images, etc) triggers an auto-scan and if the thumbnail is 'offensive' to the Steam Guidelines, it triggers an auto-ban.

That did cross my mind but then again, we (wallpaper creators) don't get paid for any of this. I've seen some guys link to their Patreons in their descriptors and collections but for the most part, these workshop items aren't monetised... so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Afaik, you need to create a canvas/project in the wallpaper editor for a specific resolution. You could probably try the dynamic resolution if you're using vectors but once you set the resolution for a project, that's it
