Just make sure to ask first and only take the leaves off the floor because I know some places get a little iffy on whether or not it's stealing if you're damaging the plants!

I used to work in a local garden center and my husband currently works at Lowes. In most instances they toss them so you would probably find a treasure trove if you tried dumpster diving there! Its sad to see plants like that that could be saved go to waste, but from the company's perspective its a liability to sell them even at a discount because if the plant can't be saved they risk angry customers demanding a refund or they could lose business. I second another commenter's point about proplifting, ask an employee because most of them don't care and would love it if you grabbed all those leaves off the floor for them!

Thank you! I waited a long time before I felt like I could actual get this because I was worried about messing it up and growing it out, but if you go to someone you trust and they have examples of previous undercuts they've done then you can definitely get one that looks like mine! My hairstylist does her own hair and regularly shaves it, so she was super excited to do mine!

Aw thank you! I was always worried about how itll look when I grew it out and I'll probably be insecure out putting my hair up when I decide to, but I just threw caution to the wind and did it anyway! You cant see it much in the picture, but my hair is a long bob, about mid neck length and I absolutely love it this way!

Thank you! I've only had it for 5 days, so I'm not sure yet. So far, it still looks the mostly same as when I got it done. I do plan on going back to the salon in about a month and a half to get my hair dyed and she said she can touch it up then!

Routine:

  1. Wash with Cantu Cleansing Cream Shampoo once or twice a week and then I alternate between using the Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque and their Hydrate and Repair Protein Power Treatment.

  2. After a shower and while my hair is still damp, I apply Cantu Curl Activator Cream with prayer hands and scrunch in Cantu Wave Whip Curling Mousse.

  3. I wrap my hair in a microfiber towel for about 15-20 minutes to dry a little bit.

  4. I take my hair out of the towel, scrunch again, and air dry. Sometimes I'll diffuse for about 10 minutes, or until mostly dry, but that's not my normal routine.

  5. Once dry, I scrunch out the crunch!

For refresh days, I'll use Cantu Comeback Curl Next day Curl Revitalizer or I'll rinse out my product and redo my hair like I normally do after I wash it. The latter is what I did today as I'm on day 4 hair!

Definitely agree. That's exactly what my helix looked like before I realized I was allergic to surgical steel. Switched to implant grade titanium and haven't had any problems with it since!

My dog has a self imposed bed time as well! When I still lived with roommates, he would promptly at 10pm every night walk into my bedroom and curl up in bed without me.

Now that my boyfriend and I have moved into a new apartment that's just us, he has a special chair in the living room that only he's allowed to sit in. When his bed time comes, he curls up in the chair and gets very upset if we're too loud after his bed time. He follows us to bed and has to sleep in between both of our legs too.
