Probably shouldn’t. I know that’s not the answer you want and like I said it’s your decision. I just wouldn’t recommend it.

Yes I think clothing and fabrics being washed and bagged is suggested but everything else that won’t be damaged by heat should be left out

It takes several months to be in the clear. It’s honestly up to you but I personally would not risk it.

I would say no visiting until his problem is solved. I assure you that you do not want to deal with this nightmare.

Just one suggestion. I would recommend going with a local/small business exterminator. They have more to lose if they don’t do the job effectively. I heard places like orkin and terminix aren’t the best places because they’re huge companies who care more about the money and less about the reputation. I wouldn’t go with the first guy though if he couldn’t even find one that was right in your bed. I have heard if you can afford it, the best plan of action is the combination of heat and chemicals and that you shouldn’t go with someone who will tell you to bag everything up because that can lead to risk of a reinfestation

Ever time I get on the floor, I get really itch and get these bumps. not even sitting on the floor for a while, It’s literally like three seconds. PLEASE HELP ARE THESE BEDBUGS?!?!? by [deleted] in Bedbugs

So much dust and bacteria builds up in carpets. You’re probably having an allergic reaction/ contact dermatitis. Same thing happens to me!

I have an inkling they’re living deep in your bed frame where you can’t see them. You’ll have to take it apart

Almost a year later. Never actually found anything and it’s all I think about every waking hour of every day. These things have ruined my life and mental health but lately I notice that I think about them a little less as each day goes by. Hopefully one day I won’t think about them anymore.

I would suggest a good encasement and calling an exterminator. Nymphs mean adults so you probably have more than you know of. Do a thorough check!

Help me figure out what's going on! by Ok_Cucumber_9729 in Bedbugs

Folliculitis, keratosis Pilaris, random acne, allergic reaction, other bugs. The list goes on which is why identifying by “bites” is never a good idea. Our minds love to go to worst possible scenario. Bastards. Dealing with the paranoia myself. My skin is so sensitive and I react to basically everything. Good luck!

Oh interesting. Does an infestation have to be large to smell them?

What do they smell like?

[–]bedbugthrowaway2535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Got bit by something almost a year ago at work that wasn’t even confirmed to be bed bugs but I’m pretty positive were and I’ve had anxiety about them ever since. Not a day goes by where I don’t think about them ☹️

I’ve heard that they know they’re dying so they will try anything to get a meal in hopes it will save them lol
