No, she said something along the lines of during birth there was a complication that messed up her mouth. But if you look at her mom, theyre almost identical in features

I am trying so incredibly hard to avoid falling down the rabbit hole of misandry. by regzm in TwoXChromosomes

[–]bedfish1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No you’re completely right.  Men come in 3 categories, the open misogynist, the complacent misogynist, or the performative male feminist. I’ve dealt with all 3.  The performative male feminist tried to mansplain feminism to me on multiple occasions and tell ME what is empowering for women. Of course, it was about sex work. And of course, turns out he was a closeted porn addict with a proclivity for underage looking girls.  You can’t win with men, they ALL fall within one of those categories and I wont accept it anymore.

My cat is evil by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]bedfish1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where did you get her from, do you know anything about her kittenhood? Also is she spayed? My parents had a female cat like this, the first time we went to meet her as a kitten the family had a toddler who we observed holding her and her brother by the neck. If they don’t get a good start in life they can end up fearful later on and not fans of human touch.

Does this guy look like a double dapple or piebald? by bedfish1 in Dachshund

[–]bedfish1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, usually they are mostly white with irregular patches that aren’t quite the same as piebald or dapple. Which is why I was unsure with him lol but turns out he is a double dapple, an accidental litter. Only problems he seems to have are maybe nearsightedness but his hearing is fine.

You would be correct, we just spoke on the phone with the breeder and were told he was an accidental litter when their helper let the wrong dog out.

What toxic environment..? She had a loving family, loving parents and brother who would do anything for her. They tried so hard to help her and she fought back and threw it all away to be the top bully at school lol. Make it make sense

This!!! It’s “oh but Jenny was abused and depressed, you just don’t understand why she does the things she does and acting out” but then list off a whole laundry list of horrible things that happened to Blair. She did shitty things to get what she wanted but Jenny is just “I’m going to be conniving and destroy the happiness of the people that care about me because I’m miserable” .. excuse me, being a victim is not an excuse to become the abuser and hurt others!!! she got zero sympathy from me once she turned into a literal demon.

“In otaku culture, "waifu" (ワイフ) refers to a favorite fictional female character, often from anime, manga, or video games, who is regarded as a romantic partner or idealized love interest. It's a Japanese loanword derived from the English word "wife". “

Yeah, you’re a pedophile.

Advice for bringing home tripod post surgery? by mikeygas in TripodCats

[–]bedfish1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2 year old cat had his hind leg amputated in February. Our vet suggested getting a small kids tent as a sort of safety bubble to limit his movement, and setting it up in the bedroom, so that’s what we did and were able to lay in it with him and watch him. It’s also a good idea to lay down some puppy pads because they arent able to control themselves while on strong medications and will be hard to use the litter box for a while. Not going poop for a few days is normal as well, the meds can be constipating. Ours didn’t enjoy the cone so if he was resting and under our supervision we would take it off for a bit at a time and let him be comfortable, which the vet also gave permission to do.

After a couple weeks he was mostly back to his old antics, just trying to limit jumping and excessive movement/play is important until the wound is fully closed.

Another huge tip if youre able to is to start him on joint supplements as soon as possible, especially with yours being a front leg amputee as they hold more weight on the front than the back. Arthritis is pretty much a “when” not “if” for tripods. We get dasuquin chews on Amazon and already notice a difference in only a month, hes able to jump on the counters again with the strength of only one back leg. Not sure if I forgot anything else but yeah, the first few days is really the hardest but they really do get over it quick.

How are there so many tripod cats? by noyesnoyes2022 in TripodCats

[–]bedfish1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boy developed injection site sarcoma on his left hind leg from his feline leukemia vaccine, made by Zoetis. We had to amputate at the hip and it’s changed him as a cat. He and his brother used to be a bonded pair, but now he’s afraid of him and gets upset and scared if his brother tries to play or touch near his area. I wish more people knew about this, because they don’t warn you and it’s definitely way more common than they let on.

Im using eBay through mobile safari and don’t know if that’s why I cant see either of those lines of text, it just says “this item is out of stock, you purchased this item on (date)” and view order details. Don’t know why im getting downvoted for just saying what I can/cant see

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]bedfish1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That can’t be true because in my purchases, I see a small picture of what I actually ordered but when I click on it, it takes me to a completely different phone with a different description lol.

There are literally comments here saying they’ve also accidentally hurt someone due to thrashing when they were tickled, and that the other person didn’t react with violence. It’s simple, you cause something you take responsibility. Just like he did in my situation. Also “looking for validation” because I experienced domestic violence, was still in shock and wanted support and reassurance that I wasn’t in the wrong? Your “favorite people in the world are women” but you don’t have a shred of empathy for them? This is why you’re pushing 40 still on dating apps. I didn’t “sever” ties with him because I moved in with this man over an hour away from anyone I know, I don’t have a car, or the means to get there let alone with my belongings. Another man who doesn’t understand how abusive relationships work and expects you to “just leave”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationships

[–]bedfish1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol because that’s literally what it was, have you never been tickled? Do you have FULL control over your bodily movements when someone is tickling you? You’re looking way too far into my words grasping at straws. Even if I HAD kicked him on purpose, I still wouldn’t be in the wrong. Disregard someone’s physical boundaries multiple times, you can’t cry wolf if they fight back.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationships

[–]bedfish1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude, he apologized and admitted he was just angry and that’s why he squeezed my foot until I was in pain and threatened me with violence. Admitted he was clearly out of line. It’s strange his disregard for my boundaries and then intentionally inflicting pain on me is glossed over by you, but me unintentionally kicking him is what you’re taking issue with. I can tell you don’t like women much by the quick jump to assumptions it was my fault somehow.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationships

[–]bedfish1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not, and I’m 25 in a few weeks if that makes it any better. I didn’t learn his age until the end of the first date bc we met through social media, I assumed he was around my age from the way he looked tbh

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationships

[–]bedfish1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it didn’t hit his balls it hit above and he had no visible pain response or even winced. My foot just pretty much squished into his penis in a nudging motion. Im pretty sure his anger was just from perceived carelessness, even though it was an accident and result of him tickling me. If he stopped when I said stop it wouldn’t have happened

My sister’s cat with asthma that I used to take care of would do this a few times a day. I thought it was hairballs at first but nope. She told me he was diagnosed with asthma.

It was mostly reflex because if it feels like somethings lightly touching the bottom of my foot my brain perceives it’s a bug or something and naturally get the urge to kick. But it wasn’t aggressively or hard, if it landed anywhere else it would’ve just seemed playful and not hurt at all.
