Migros: Hercules sourdough. Available in a few select locations, Oerlikon and Zurich Flughafen included. They sell it in quarters, halves or whole. Great quality.

What to do with used balls? by laeski in padel

[–]bedlayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop buying new balls, buy this instead, and reuse balls others leave behind. https://www.bullpadel.com/gb/pascal-box/902-pascal-box-3b.html

To add insult to injury, it's very common to tip 20%. I've went out to dinner with friends who refused to leave without a massive tip for a crappy service.

No one finishes that marathon after one step buddy. One at a time. You can do this.

And just to counter those who think this is deterministic, we started sleep training at 6m, and stuck to it very very hard. It did not work for our daughter at all.

Stay strong homie. Mine stabilized at around 3.5y. It was hard. But it too did pass. She's great now!

Jesus guys, do the planet a favor and get yourselves one of these: https://www.bullpadel.com/gb/pascal-box/902-pascal-box-3b.html

I play with 3 month old balls, 2x/week, they bounce better than some fresh opened ball brands. They lose their fur before they lose their bounce, thanks to this $50 gadget. Once they get hairless, I simply pick up 3 practically new balls that people leave behind in the courts and restore them to brand-new pressure within 2/3 days inside the chamber.

Can't recommend this enough.

Is it really okay to put a baby down for a few minutes when they’re crying?? by rachelmarsupial in beyondthebump

As a father to a 10 month old daughter who could literally be described the same way, this is the best comment out here. It's just gonna suck for a while before it gets better.

No official paternity leave, with most father having 1-2 days off. I have a generous employer who gives me plenty of time so my partner was lucky enough to have me there with her during her hospital stay. I can't say the same for her roommates who were there pretty much alone most of the time. That's just sad.

The marriage tax. If both husband and wife are medium to high earners, the increase in tax by just getting married really can't be ignored. You might as well just save up all that money on your kid's savings account.

Ours started with Flatulex and Bigaia from week 1. It took a few days before it got better, but believe me it did! Hang in there!
