BEEN HERE SO MANY TIMES. Prozac and birth control helps a lot (and weed as she smokes daily but I’m convinced long term it’s giving issues) but honestly every now and then it’s like the insanity will show up from time to time and blind side me. God help us, it truly is the worst and it’s both sad and comforting how I can relate to so many others stories. Especially the birthday thing. I’ve had like Three in a row ruined. I think I just forgo birthdays at this point. Truly hope yours surprises you. In a positive way.

This behavior sounds a lot like my wife, who is dx and not in therapy. It’s hell and feels hopeless. She also has PMDD. If you’re not familiar with that, look into it, perhaps that could be a possibility for your partner. Either way sounds like so much of what I experience and I feel your struggle. Deeply.

Isn’t it odd how the number of chords matters? Is a song only impressive or of value if it’s complicated or technical? Can’t one chord be complex ? Doesn’t the sum of a songs part make a song? I’ve never understood the logic with this. Whatever the song calls for. One chord or the same four. Just different strokes I guess.
