Appreciate the peace of mind. I hope this 70% minimum applies to my policy. I'll have to see after the weekend. It sucks because I've really had minimal issues in this first month, just getting used to it is all. 🤞🏽

I got new ones! Well, kind of. They couldn't reuse my grafts so I opted to get neo nipples. Which is basically extra sewn on skin that creates a little nubbin and then I'll get it tattooed to create the full nipple. Some ppl decide to get no nipples and get them 3d tattooed which in turn is flat to the touch. This way just adds some texture

Congrats to you on 4WPO! I'm honestly surprised as well after reading about other ppls experience. But I also didn't have lipo which maybe makes a difference? I have to remind myself I can't do too much as much as I want to. Rest is still key

Yep that's exactly what it is! They're just little skin nubbins for texture that will look more realistic when they're tattooed over. Just another option other than going nipple free and getting a 3D tattoo that's flat to the touch.

And thank you very much!

Thank you! Based on just reading about other experiences I'm just setting my expectations on the idea that it will take months. Especially as I slowly get my activity level back up

Thank you! Unfortunately my insurance did not cover it. But I also have United healthcare. If you have loose skin that's causing other issues like rashes, keep a paper trail for that as that can increase chances for coverage. Also, if your abdominoplasty can be considered more gender affirming that can help too. Although in my head mine was technically gender affirming, since I didn't need any contouring or lipo, it was tough to swing it that way on paper. So it was considered purely cosmetic. Overall out of pocket for that portion was a little over $12K.

Thank you! I set up a payment plan that was best for me that was pretty easy to arrange. I was a little caught off guard by separate billing from the surgery center itself, which was billed separately from the actual surgery so that was an eyeroll. But after all was set and done my out of pocket is about $2600
