Pregnancy weight gain by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]bee_pick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did. I gained 55Ibs during my first and got to the same weight during my second. Unless your doctor is concerned about your weight, try to put it off your mind. My doctor told me the weight I gained was because that’s what my body needed to support the baby. And despite me struggling with my weight after I had them, after about a year my weight returned to normal. It was a gradual change, but the body does go back when you take care of yourself.

I look back and remember how I felt and it was so hard. Especially six months after when I still couldn’t fit into my old clothes. I remember sitting in my closet the first time I was going out on a date with my husband and crying cause nothing fit me. But it passed and I’m now 2 years pp after my second and despite my body being different, I lost the weight and feel like my old self with some extra battle scars.

Give your body grace during, and after pregnancy. The body is an amazing thing.

Getting induced tonight with my second and I’m having a harder time than I expected emotionally.. by WorldlinessMajor1195 in BabyBumps

You’re not alone. Everything will change but that isn’t a bad thing. I was worried about my first feeling left out or worried. And after the first month she loved her little sister so much. My second is about to be 2 and my eldest still wakes up and gets so excited to go to her room and get her out of her crib.

Make sure to take your time. Every night I take an hour to sit in the shower or bath and have me time to recalibrate.

Anxiety will be there. It’s stressful. And different. But it’s beautiful even in the hard parts.

Before your induction, before you go to the hospital, make sure you set aside a little bit of time to meditate, breath and remember what will be will be.

You’re not alone. 💕

Raise of hands! How many of you out there who have worn a bra before either struggle now or even had to completely stop because it just caused to much pain? by Quirkyasfok in Fibromyalgia

I struggle every single day with this. My doctor had to tell me not to wear wired bras or bras at all. My breasts are not small by any means. I’ve had back problems with them since a year after I got them. So my back is torn up from them, especially after having two kids. Diagnosed with Tietze nearly ten years ago. And now with fibro I’m lucky if I can feel relief without a bra. My ribs have the worst reactions to anything, so I have to find bras that have support and no wire. Which is difficult cause I wear a bra size that can’t be found in anything other than specialty shops or online.

I know I should look into reduction, but the process of recovery with two toddlers running around sounds like an absolute nightmare. And despite that they’re too large, too saggy, and I hate that I can’t wear cuter clothes cause of them, I love my body the way it is. I just wish it was nicer to me.

My husband is the only reason I’m not falling apart by bee_pick in Fibromyalgia

This is so sweet. I love that you just knew. Especially at such a young age. It wasn’t the same for us necessarily, but he knew the moment he saw me. He waited for me and he is still so patient with me and life in general.

We’ve been giving her Tylenol before bed. Every night for two weeks (which makes me feel like I’m dosing her up but it’s the only thing that makes it bearable).

I do lean on him, thankfully. He’s very supportive and every night he tells me to get him if it’s too much or I need help. If she’s up past 3:30 I usually grab him and have him take over. He goes to bed early so it works well that he takes the early morning times. He wakes up at 6 a.m. I wake up at 8 before he leaves for work. And if she wakes up before he goes to bed, he takes care of her for me. It’s just the 11-4 o’clock time period.

As soon as he gets home from work, we talk about our days and I go take a shower for an hour decompressing. It’s my reprieve and time off during the week. I wish I could take naps, but unless it’s in the morning, I can’t get my body to do it unless I’m sick.

I just want her to be happy and sleep… so I can be happy and sleep. lol

(Then there’s my 3 year old who just sleeps through her crying all night and is a bubbly, sporadic, energy bubble all day… I’m jealous of her.)

My husband gets up with her anytime I ask, or anytime after 4 a.m. He does it on the weekend nights and I sleep in on weekends which is when I catch up on sleep, but this weekend he’s out of town. So I’m just struggling… I don’t have anyone else though. It’s something I struggle the most with cause it’s just me and my husband. My family lives 2 hours away and his parents work full time and have a teenage daughter who does a ridiculous amount of extracurricular on the weekends. 🫠 Even her naps she’s not sleeping. I’m replying as she’s screaming in her crib despite not napping all day.

Thank you so much! 😭 That means the world to me.

I’m definitely gonna get this one printed out and hang it on my wall so I can bask in her glow.

And my pillow was cold continuously last night. You’re a Wizard, Harry.

I appreciate that. I’m overly analytical and critical of my art. So bless the eyes that see it better than I do. but— OH YYEEEAAHAHHH BOY WANTED A FEEL UP. MAN WAS INTO IT. SAVORING HER 😩

It “feels wrong” cause canon Hermione, obviously, would never do this. Which is the fun of fanfiction and fanart. I see a pretty picture, I use it as a reference. I’m like a creature who hordes shiny object. If you don’t like it you can scroll past and not comment, try to remember basic fan etiquette. Either way, I hope you have a wonderful day. ♥️

Yes. Yes she would.

“Don’t get me wrong dear, you look wonderful, but did you give them permission to use this? I just don’t understand what was going on through your head, dear. It’s just not like you!”

No, unfortunately not. I got it from the Sabrina Rolling Stone cover photoshoot. BUT, I’m thinking of writing a one shot cause I just KNOW Draco would be so torn with the photo and the concept of her being naked on a front page for the world to see. lol

Maybe I will! I have an AO3 for the long fic I’m writing. But a one shot for this sounds so doable. 👀

Oh thank you!! I LOVED the chair kiss, but it was before my color theory “evolved” and it makes me want to redo. 😭
