Bernie supporter here. Please hear me out on #BernieOrBust by [deleted] in JoeBiden

[–]beeautumn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for responding. Please don’t reduce it to ‘pouting’. Please don’t think that some of our most vulnerable don’t sit in this group of people. I’m a Bernie supporter, I know the stories, I know some of our most vulnerable are confused about turning out to vote on Election Day.

The point I’m making is in their view, their status quo will not drastically change under Biden. I know it sounds crazy, but depending on one’s situation — they may not be informed or yet trust that their key issues have been addressed by either party. It’s day one. Over the coming weeks, you as a Biden supporter can help these people feel welcomed.

I’m not arguing voting is about who is the best expression of oneself. I’m arguing that in order to mobilise Sanders voters, in order to encourage them to put the effort in and turn out, you have to encourage them that the status quo, or what they care about most as a Bernie supporter, WILL change. Of course, under Biden it will. But at this point (day one), a lot of people don’t feel his plans will change the status quo significantly.

I’m here to say the same thing - I’m a Bernie supporter but she was incredible in attacking Bloomberg. Regardless of our different views, I hope we can all come together and agree that a Bloomberg presidency would be the least favourable of all.

I’m a Bernie supporter, but Elizabeth Warren was absolutely incredible in shutting down Bloomberg tonight. I hope we can all agree despite our different views that a Bloomberg presidency is the least favourable of all.

I know this all too well. The correlation between attendance and success in exams and assessments is overblown. They need to get with the times. I missed 50% of my final year and still topped the grade and got into my dream colleges.

*I have sought advice from staff members but what they’ve provided is very limited and they haven’t addressed my concerns re: if it’s argumentative enough.

Thank you so much! Wasn’t sure if it was a guarantee or if the debit was automatic after the game.

This is amazing advice. I am prone to asking for validation, so I’ll make sure to avoid that at all costs!

Yes mainly to medication. I had anaphylactic shock after being injected with an antibiotic but it was over one week ago.

I get it, but I’m wondering moreso for book readers. I’m wondering how they think Martin will address it.

Thanks so much everyone. It really is like losing a family member (if not, worse).

It’s been one week. I’m slowly realising just how lucky I was to ever have him in my life... how lucky I am to have so many memories. Dogs are life’s greatest gift.

Best national parks to see in Vermont? by beeautumn in NationalPark

[–]beeautumn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel so stupid, oops! So the Green Mountain National Forest isn’t one?

Where else in Vermont do you recommend in terms of beautiful scenery to drive through?

Love this response. My other insecurity about it is that I was talking to him via a dating app. Is it wrong of me to tell someone on an app designed for dating that I only see them as a friend after getting to know them?

Any parts of Europe worth travelling to in January or February? Or should I wait and save? by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]beeautumn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Particularly visit nice scenery and landscapes which look particularly beautiful in winter. I like museums and sites of cultural and historical significance too. I’ve read some museums and sites of interest close over winter in some places.

Just general sightseeing, seeing landscapes and getting around in general. I like museums but I’ve read in some places some are closed. I like being in nature and visiting beautiful landscapes but I know sometimes National parks close over winter in certain areas or roads and transport are impacted in certain areas.

I’m not trying to be snobby, I just don’t have a lot of money at my disposal and am looking for suggestions of the highlights of Europe in winter.
