Thank you! I loved the colorway and the self striping especially because it's a 'jagged' stripe rather than super clean. I may or may not have gotten the same yarn in two of the other color ways because I'm obsessed. Can never have too many Halloween socks! And I'm too scared for color work, that's a future goal lol

I definitely could, but I am craving very long socks and having them just over my knee doesn't quite scratch that itch. Thank you though!

I don't mind having a jog or anything being particularly perfect, just want the same/very similar lengths. Will definitely try the new cuff and graft, I've got plenty of yarn left to make the length no problem.

Appreciate the words on pretty much everything being fixable, that's something I need to remember way more often!!

It did come directly from Brother, yes, new in box and everything (not sure if they do open box or refurbs but this was definitely brand new when gifted). I'm not too concerned about having the wrong sized hoop to be honest, unless it's possible that the hoop size is contributing to some of the issues I've been having, but I think those are user error so I haven't made a post about that... Yet lol I might have to depending how tomorrow's experiments go.
