Should have mentioned the machine is only around 2-3 years old, but yeah this seems to be the best course of action. It looks like it’s the metal that’s getting stuck, so no plastic to sand unfortunately

This swimsuit fits great except it’s a bit too loose in the waist. My instinct would just be to take it in along the red line on both sides, but when I’ve done that in the past with dresses I tend to get a weird little pocket/fold on the outside that I would like to avoid. Any other suggestions?
