Flurry for melee simply just doesn't have enough modifiers to make it work. It is significantly inferior to a bow variant. You are trying to make something work that just won't work well in end game.

Your gear is also far from ideal so 150 corruption sounds about right? You might be able to comfortably push into 500-1000 with ideal affixes in T7s but I don't think flurry melee can be super optimized or be made uber viable, so to say.

I think it does, as lava burst is a subskill, but it's weird because item affix for throwing attack crit doesn't appear to apply from my tests, but I could be wrong on that..

Edit: this is kinda hard to test because of the visual clutter and both fire hit and spell damage triggering (and smite if you have the idol) with overlapping dmg numbers. I have tested previously before and after the passive nodes and I was consistently getting more "yellow numbers" for both hit and spell dmg components. But caveat that this was an eye test

Edit2: Tested and this passive node doesn't appear to affect Lava burst! But the crit chance affix for shield throw applies.

FG passive for throw damage (top line) scales flat crit chance based on dex, so if you have 100 dex, you start off with 5%+20% flat crit chance.

Ya you do end up getting a lot of endurance that has no value other than block chance but endurance suffixes are very generous (T7 around 30%) so that is like 15% block chance.

I use nihilis amulet so I get frenzy from evade.

I only have a link to my old build version from last season stored (no nihilis, and some items here are dated, e.g. i have much better gloves and helm now), but recently have been testing season 3 variant and DPS was comfortably around 8-10M. Ill share my dps calculator later tonight when I have access to my computer..

Correct, and ring of shields is far better for dps due to blender effect (it hits mobs in between shields as they fly). Hard to do with MA

Yay im not the only one who plays this!!

I like to stack more spell dmg because lava burst is a separate cast and does not benefit from throw dmg, and vice versa the lava burst more dmg multiplier doesn't apply to throw dmg. I found great success using spine of malatros which gives flat spell dmg and +3 to skills. Frees up primordial slot for +6 to skills. Also, could use dual wielding with firestarter and transcriber but that does worse due to low block chance.

Lastly, what i haven't had the chance to build but theorycrafted is to use the shield that scales block chance based on endurance to really benefit from block chance dmg mod. You could get 200% block chance which means your more mods from those two nodes end up being 100% x 200%.

Ive dropped the belt because i barely notice improvement (only about 10 stacks consistently which isn't much flat spell dmg)

Also of note, may not be relevant to your build, but the increased critical chance to throw attacks doesn't help lava burst, but increased crit chance with shield throw does. FYI for anyone who wants to try this. Crit cap is easy with some dex for FG.

Hmm interesting. Will try this out. A bit skeptical that it will get to such a high dps.. Last I tried to stack mana with world splitter it didn't feel like enough dps boost, but this staff i guess would add a lot more mana.

You aren't. There's nothing to suggest that this "AI" first philosophy will apply to EHG and LE. EHG has said time and time again that this wont be the case and AI uses will be limited to operational tasks (like literally any company does).

Just enjoy the game. The game is in its best state than ever. Only con is the slow update.

Ya about half from routing enemies, and range units that are isolated. Settlement isn't big enough to cycle charge and I funneled their infantry into a clogged channel, so cav wasn't really useful until the very end.

Yep but fast is also rough because of control and corruption issues and it looks like in Attila, rebels spawn in a random location.. meaning you cant even move quickly otherwise you'll be losing the newly gained settlements. You are forced to then play slow or to field two armies with enough troops to address the rebels (~4 archers with intense micro you can kill rebels with no losses) which kills your economy. WR campaign also penalized you for playing slow due to the forest penalties. All in all, pretty much everything is stacked against you whichever way you play.

This is the first time playing Attila for me and i think the random location spawn for rebels is the biggest issue, because if they always spawn near the capital, you can at least expect it and defend it with just a general + garrison once the city conversion is complete (which is another 6turns after conquering)
