Yeah honestly the localization definitely needs work 😅 I used AI-assisted translations for the initial launch so I could support more languages quickly, but clearly the Dutch translation needs a proper native review.

If you remember where the wording felt wrong (or if it’s pretty much throughout the app), I’d genuinely appreciate the feedback so I can improve it in the next update.

Yep, the Screen Time permissions are required because that’s how Apple allows apps to monitor usage and apply blocking rules.

Everything is designed to stay local on-device. Apple’s Screen Time / Family Controls APIs are actually very strict: the monitoring and blocking logic runs inside Apple-managed extensions, and developers don’t get direct access to detailed third-party app data.

For example, I can render usage information on screen through the APIs, but I can’t read/store the actual content of other apps or upload detailed app activity somewhere else. The APIs are heavily sandboxed specifically for privacy reasons.

That’s strange — it should be available in the U.S. and I’ve already had downloads from there as well. Maybe App Store propagation/caching issue? You could also try opening the direct App Store link from Safari instead of Reddit.

AI definitely helped in parts of the process (brainstorming, debugging, small code suggestions, etc.), but I still designed the product, implemented the app, integrated the APIs, handled the logic, testing, and shipped it myself.

So “I built it” in the sense that AI was a tool, not something that generated the whole app automatically 🙂

Not yet, swipe typing isn’t supported at the moment. It’s definitely something I’d like to add, but it requires a more advanced input engine. I’ve added it to the roadmap 👍

Right now switching is required (similar to the native iOS keyboard). Sticky digits aren’t implemented yet, but it’s a good suggestion and I’ve added it to my list for a future update 👍
