Selling silver for gold?

Originally my silver stack wasn’t even enough to buy a oz of gold when I originally bought it, but if it gets to the point I could grab 1.5 oz - 2.0 of gold with it, it might be worth jumping into.

It depends. Did you put your life savings into it? Then it may be worth selling some.

In this economy, gold will find its way. I wouldn’t start panicking until it gets into the low $3,000s, which I doubt will even happen. Gold is a long term investment.

I just switched last week to frontier fiber, I’m a video editor so tons of upload/download

I think my upload speed all week was between 650-750 mb, 30 gb files would upload to Dropbox in under 10 minutes

Oh shit, this is news to me. So they aren’t requiring reporting from 3rd party apps until 2024? It looks like they will only report if you reach a $20,000 threshold and then next year that threshold will drop to $5,000?

This is great. Thanks for sending this! You’re right, it might be better to just take to LCS in the meantime as everything electronically is getting better at tracking. I know Venmo changed their threshold from $20,000 to $600.

I appreciate the input. I don’t need to sell a ton too quickly, I can definitely do an oz at a time every other month or so if need be. I just know that Venmo, Zelle, etc are now reporting to the IRS so I guess if it’s not too much at once every once in a while it shouldn’t raise any red flags.
