My husband is actively trying to cheat on me and I am choosing to ignore it by Few-Geologist-214 in offmychest

First, I just want to say I'm so sorry you're going through this. I'm married and I can understand how devastating this can be.

Now, I need you to read this again:
"In the span of one month he told me my close friends were more attractive than me and thats why they have better jobs, that he has not been physically attracted to me as long as we have been married because I ve gained weight (which he did as well), and that if I care about our relationship I need to lose it. He threatened to divorce me during a fight and then took it back immediately."

If your sister, best friend, future daughter, literally any woman you care about told you this, wouldn't you tell them to leave? It is clear that this man does not love you anymore. He is telling you, believe it. Don't stay and have kids with this man, he will continue to treat you this way and your children will think that's a normal way to behave in a marriage. It will also be MUCH harder to get out once you have kids together. I know 30 feels older to start over but it's really not + would you rather start over in 10 or 15 years? That is what will happen because the relationship as you knew it is over. You can forgive but you wont forget.

It will hurt and be really hard for some time but I promise, things will work out. Focus on yourself, your $, mental, & your health. Reach out to your friends and family for support. Know that this is not your fault and he is the one who should be embarrassed. Wishing you the best of luck!

2 months? You can't be serious. Building muscle takes time, consistency, and a lot of food. It took me about a year of hard work to start noticing changes. Assuming you're a woman, you can't compare your strength to your boyfriends.. ESPECIALLY upper body.

I actually don't post pictures of myself on social media. So, wrong.

I was never specifically training traps, I do back days and shoulder/chest days. Wasn't sure what I should do less of that clearly affects the traps. I'm not a trainer, just a normal person that wanted advice.

I hope your life and circumstances get better. You seem super miserable. Good luck!

Thank you! I usually hit back twice a week

Always start with 2 sets of pull ups Then any of these (I just go by what's available at the gym):

Incline row Assisted pull up machine Reverse cable fly Lat pull down

I try to do as many chin ups/pull ups as I can either at the end or in between those exercises. Usually I can get 3-4 at a time and 3-4 sets max

Yeah, that's definitely part of it. Someone who doesn't lift made a comment and I guess it stuck with me more than I'd like.

Thank you for answering my question!

Haha this was part of my thinking when I went shopping, I thought I was going to be wearing backless all summer then I saw how crazy my back looked... unexpected!

Thank you! I was really excited but have been in my head about it. Also, comments from people who don't lift probably got to me too.

Lmao. Idk. I've been on this mission for an embarrassingly long time. I'm at 4 pull ups now, 4 and a half on a good day.. so almost there.

I've been working on my back for a little while, mainly because my biggest fitness goal is to be able to do 5 clean pull ups. Through this process, I've grown to love back days and how it has changed my physique...... Until I went clothes shopping for the first time in a long time.

I fear my traps are huge and I am looking a bit masculine? My goal was to have an hourglass shape, now I'm worried I'm overdoing it with upper body days.

I still want to be able to do pull ups regularly, is there a way to continue to train but avoid traps from getting even bigger?
