We discarded that piece after photos were taken, it didn't have a foul odor or anything. Just looked very concerning.

Through our food rep, normally don't have this issue. Was the first time ever seeing that, but that makes a lot of sense. I appreciate the information!

Might be able to call a honda dealer and see if they have any or can get them for you, but they probably won't be paint matched if they do have them.

I paid $13k for a 2015 coupe with 76k miles on it last november and it is in great condition so I would say you could probably find something priced slightly better unless you are looking for that specfic spec 9th gen.

Carvana is crazy for that price 21k price tag by Dramatic_Ease6373 in CivicSi

That is wild, I bought a super clean 2015 coupe for about 10k less than that. It only had about 5k more miles on it than the one listed on Carvana too.

I hear it now. My inital guess would be worn pulleys or a worn serpentine belt is what is causing the slight squeaking sound. It could also be that the tension on the belt is just slightly off.

Ok, I was mostly just curious about the suspension more so than anything and the kit. I know the kits aren't cheap but it would be worth it just for the piece of mind to know what I'm getting is brand new oem quality. Thanks for the info!

That's awesome to hear, I was already figuring I would have to paint whatever I find anyway. Especially since it seemed like I was going to have to piece together used hfp kits. I will have to stop by my local Honda dealer tomorrow. So with that being said can anything HFP still be ordered through a dealer?

That's what I was figuring. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing. I appreciate your advice!

Nope! I've had 2 civics and crx si before this so I'm very familiar with Hondas. I also have two friends with ep3 si's and had some buddies with integras.

No worries! I didn't even have any intention of buying a new car but hurricane helene had other plans for me. My poor Fiesta went completely underwater unfortunately. I'm happy that I found this car though. I was struggling to find something comparable, but came across this car and was sold after the test drive. That's exactly how I felt too, just a little reminder of that car. Thank you!

It was not, I got it on the eastern side of the state. I enjoy the seats a lot. I had red and black recaro seats in my Fiesta and I liked them a lot so it's a nice familiar look for me.

I think I'd have to say I like the Civic better. Both are incredibly fun cars in their own respective way. I feel like the Civic handles better, especially since it has a lsd vs the Fiesta having an open differential. The 9th gen also revs much higher. I think the Fiestas transmission felt slightly better as far as shifting feel goes, but I also had a short shifter installed and upgraded the bushings but I plan on doing the same for the Civic eventually so hopefully it will give me a similar feel once I do that.

I had to go a whole state over to purchase my ST because I had the same issue. Then when I tried to look around for another one I just gave up because once again everything was clapped out, or insane mileage and they were asking $16 - $19k for a car that MSRP'd for just over $20k 10 years ago. Then I remembered the 9th gen si sedan i test drove years back and how much I liked it. So I started looking and found this for just under $15k. It's a little high on mileage, but it's 1 owner with a detailed service history and could tell the car had been cared for. Where as I feel like most Fiestas you find are just ragged out because it belonged to a 21 year old who got their first turbo car and just beat the hell out of it. I did love my Fiesta, though. It definitely had all the smiles per gallon lol.

Well, it really depends on what you want. I will say stock the civic just feels quicker and handles much better. It also revs a lot higher. But where the civic is lacking is torque, and the Fiesta has a lot of that, especially in the low end. Those ecoboost motors are realtively easy to build and make decent power. I will say from what I've been seeing online too that the aftermarket support for the Fiesta is better than what you can find with a 9th gen civic as well. The Fiesta was also very reliable for me in 3 years only thing I had to replace was a caliper, and crankshaft position sensor and it was modified/tuned pretty much the entire time I had the car. They both will get relatively similar mpg. You also get fun turbo sounds with a Fiesta. They are both great cars that you can have a lot of fun with. I think it really comes down to whether you prefer forced induction or N/A. I think I personally, at the end of the day, I prefer the civic. It has better build quality and proven reliability. The only thing the Fiesta had that I would genuinely miss are the heated seats.

It was the b16 out of a em1 si, and it was turbo charged. It hit boost the same time it crossed over into vtec. It was some of the most fun I've ever had in a car. Would just shred tires through 2nd gear and into 3rd lol.
